**Sneak Peek** Teri & Nick's Maternity Shoot

When Teri told me that I would probably have to Photoshop out some stretch marks, I told her that would be no problem. I've done it a thousand times. Today when we began our portrait session, she lifted up her shirt to expose, what I believe, was the most beautiful baby belly I had ever seen! Not one stretch mark on that perfect little basketball of hers! I laughed and told her I think one hundred times that she looked beautiful and so did her belly. Ha! We had a great time today. There were so many great photos in the bunch, it was hard to narrow them down for their sneak peek. So without further ado... I present "Nick & Teri Made A Buckeye Baby." Enjoy~

Sneak Peek: Abby & Andy's Wedding

It was an amazing day, from beginning to end. It was, in one word... magical. Abby looked stunning, Andy looked oh-so handsome. I knew this would be one of the most amazing weddings I would have photographed so far. The day was filled with a rush of happy and joyful emotions as I knew it would be. I know many of you could not wait to see the official sneak peek, so I didn't want to keep you all waiting. These are only a few (and I mean a few) of the great moments throughout the day. New logo, New Splash!

Today is a GLORIOUS day. I finally decided on a color logo. Finally. Meaning I've been going back and forth for MONTHS!

Being a graphic designer, one of the hardest thing to decide on is when you are done. When is that project complete. When is one more too much.

I am surrounded daily by inspiring graphics and logos and my head just spins and spins like a spin the bottle game. Around and around... well, ok, you get the picture.

Why did I choose what I chose, you ask?

As some of you may recall from my previous logo, my script "e" with 2 dots was sort of sig. I love it. I was just doodling one day on the computer and it magically happened. You can say love at first sight (or design!) I knew I needed to incorporate that into my logo. forever.

The next was color choice. Wow, millions and millions of color combos. (oh, yum, I love combos!) Anyhow, with blue being my favorite color, I figured that would be in there somewhere. But the accent needed to stand out, something new, something that "POPS"! I was standing in my closet one day and was looking at this chartreuse sweater I had from the Limited. Not a color everyone likes, or looks good in, and actually I think it was the only color left on the clearance rack the day I got it! Anyhow, I thought "ya know, I really like that color. It's bright, it's unusual, it speaks!!!"

So bam- there you have it. I finally got around to just sitting down and creating it today (Sidenote: thank you to my sweet little boy for taking a 3 hour nap today).

So without further doo.... the new official Studio E Photography Logo! Enjoy!

Featured Family Friday

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege to photograph this amazing family. I was so excited when Andrea asked me to do a family portrait session of them for 3 reasons:

1) I knew there would be extreme giggling and laughing involved, not only from them, but from me too!

2) The kids would give me all the energy they had

3) It knew it was going to be a blast

Needless to say, I should of added a #4 to that list: CHECK ALL ABOVE. It was a great shoot and there were so many great photos, I couldn't post them all. Although there was slight griping because of their "uniforms", as you can see, they look great! Here are a few favorites. You can so see each personality in the kids! Love it! Thanks again Gintert family. One of the best shoots to date!
