Love it, Leave it...

Love It: Infusium 23 Leave-In Conditioner

This is by far the BEST leave-in conditioner I have ever used. I've tried them all, but let me tell you- THIS STUFF WORKS! Plus you get a HUGE bottle for only around 7.00.

Love It: Tresemme Tres Two Ultra Fine Hairspray

I used to use a $12 hairspray I'd get from Target, but that was before a mortgage & a baby. Now I am SUPER picky about prices, since our budget is much tighter these days. I love this hairspray because it is perfect for spraying away flyaways and setting your curls without the stickyness or hardness of other hairsprays. It's ultra fine (as stated on the bottle) and works great when your hair is down and even up! It's priced great at around 4.00 and smells wonderful too!Leave It: Revlon Photo Ready Foundation

Again, I used to splurge on MAC makeup, but again, that was before a house and a baby. I have tried many types of foundations. My dermo told me never to use mineral makeup, it caused me to break out really bad due to the minerals in it... along with Covergirl, Almay, Arbonne, MaryKay and Avon. I was shocked to hear this, but she said there is ingredients in these that will cause my pores to clog and which leads to acne. So I tried the Revlon Colorstay and I loved it! I wanted to try another Revlon foundation and so I went with this Photo Ready makeup. I will say it does a nice job of evening out your face, but it doesn't last but a couple hours and it's all off my face. I am going back to the Revlon Color Stay.

Love it, Leave it #5

Love It: Aveda Shampure Shampoo and Conditioner

This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner that I have ever used. My sister got me hooked on it. Even though it is not their official "color protectant" product, it still always keeps my highlights looking great and I LOVE the way it makes my hair smell. Because it isn't cheap (9.50 per bottle), I switch it up with a cheaper brand and use it every other day to make it last.

Leave It: Aveda Shampure Candle

Because I love the shampoo and conditioner so much, I thought I would splurge and try their Shampure candle. Well, I have to say that I was very disappointed. They lady who was working when I bought it said how well it smells up the entire room and it's a huge seller (yeah right!) I can't even smell it when it is lit unless I go right up to it. AND it doesn't smell as good as the shampoo and conditioner. I will stick with the Henry Bendel brand Firewood candle from now on.

Love it, Leave it #4

Love it: The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector

Every year about this time my hands get really, really dry. I have used many different kinds of hand creme, but this one takes the cake. It is a huge tube that will last you over a year at least, if not longer. It smells devine (not flowery or strong) and it works so well. They also have hemp chap stick that would recommend. :)

Leave it: Swiffer duster

Because I couldn't think of anything else to put under my "leave it", I decided to put the swiffer duster down. I use it probably once a week, and it does the job- pretty well.... They recently came out with one that has the fabric 360 degrees around, which is why the one pictured above is on my "leave it". Only have the fabric on one side of the handle was a huge pain in the butt. Once I get all these used up, I am going to buy the one with the 360 fabric on the handle.
But over all, I think pledge and a soft cloth works the best and you can smell the cleanness too.

Love it, Leave it #3

LOVE IT: Henry Bendel FIREWOOD Candle

OKAY PEOPLE! LISTEN UP! This will be the best darn purchase you have ever made in your life! This candle can be found at almost any Bath and Body Works store nationwide. Oh, but this isn't just any candle. This is a best kept secret! You will never experience a candle smell as amazing as this FIREWOOD candle. I am telling you, it smells exactly like a campfire. It gets you in this cozy mood you have never experienced before in your life. I put it in my bedroom and burn it about every night. It makes you feel like you have a fireplace in your room. The candle is $26, but I am telling you, it is worth EVERY PENNY! Please try it and let me know what you think!

LEAVE IT: GOODIE NO SLIP HEADBANDS

Okay, I wear alot of these elastic headbands- like every single day when I get home from work. So I have tried alot in my day. These I thought would work great, with their little rubber dots (if you look closely, you can see them), that supposed to help keep them on your head. Well, no. These headbands were first of all WAY TOO BIG for my head. Like so big that I could tie a knot with the extra fabric when I would stretch it to see how tight it should be. I suggest using the thinner bands rather than the wider ones. They seem to stay on better since they are tighter.

Love it, Leave it #2

LOVE IT: FY...EYE Eye Lid Primer

I got introduced to this little baby when i got my makeup done at Sephora. It was a test round of makeup that I wanted to use for my wedding. It is a creme eye primer that goes on your lids (just put it on with your finger) and it won't let your eye shadow crease or smear. I LOVE IT! It is $22, but it lasts for like a year. So worth every cent.

Leave It: Woolite P.O.D.

I was very interested in trying this little baby... you know the "Scrub, Brush, Groom and Done" commercial. Fender makes little messes here and there and I thought this would be an easy way to clean those up along with other messes I find. I liked it at first, the woolite solution that you squeeze out smells divine (it takes some muscle to actually squeeze it though). The scrubber worked okay the first time, but then it started to get goopy and gross. And before I knew it, the solution was almost gone. So then ya gotta go buy the solution to refill it. Pain in the butt! Stick with a wash cloth and regular soap.

Love It, Leave It #1

Being the toiletry item and cleaning product fanatic that I am, I decided to begin posts called "Love It, Leave It" (thank you Jessica Turner for the idea!). I am one of those people that need to try that new product at least once! So here we go.

LOVE IT: WET WIPES (any brand)

I love this product. This is a must EVEN if you don't have kids. Keeping one of these in your car is seriously a great investment. I usually get the store brand at Target, which works just as good as the name-brand ones. It is perfect for when you are eating in the car and your fingers are sticky, or if your passenger spills his drink. It does work good on clothes too, if you drop a bit of ketchup on your jeans (I know that from personal experience)!

LEAVE IT: GLADE SCENTED OIL CANDLES
Okay, I am all about a good smelling home, but this item is a waste of money! I got one at Home Depot and thought this might be my new product that I love! NO WAY! The oil candle only lasts like 2-3 hours- then its gone! It burns up so fast, I used 2 in one night! Stick with a regular burning candle like Yankee Candles or one from Kohls. You will spend so much money on those oil refills. This item is ridiculous!
