And 4,600 points later...

I finally did it!

I have collected over 4,600 pampers points and have ordered my free JEEP stroller!

I started the moment I knew I was pregnant (so it's been close to a year and a half). I believe that Pampers are the best diapers out there (LOVE their swaddlers) and so I have no guilty feeling when I purchase them. I have never had a pee-pee accident with Zach using Pampers. Love Pampers!

Anyhow, I have had my eye on the JEEP Stroller you can purchase with your points. They have had alot of temping toys/prizes/gadgets. But I have stayed focused and have finally reached the 4600 points needed to get the free stroller ($45 - $50 retail price!)

I am so pumped to receive this baby! WOOH! Got the blood a pump'n! I love free stuff!

Tis the season, for Fall!

Fall in Ohio, nothing more beautiful!

Living in Central Ohio (Columbus), fall brings everyone who lives here to a higher level. Not only is it the cool, breezy weather, but one word... OHIO STATE FOOTBALL.

I love football season, and so does my husband. And now that we have a lil' football player running around our house, it seems even more special.

I personally love fall. I love you can wear layers of clothing, I love the leaves changing, and the feeling of the holidays are right around the corner.

Which brings me to my favorite time of year... HALLOWEEN! Huge fan. Huge fan.

Last year I was unable (and uncapable for that matter) to decorate for Halloween. Zach was due any minute and I was too tired and too big to put forth the effort. But this year will be different. I am anticipating getting my fall decor out next week.

Check out this adorable tutorial on how to make this BOO Wreath! Me love! Thanks craftaholics!

The Lettered Cottage

I want to give a shout out to one of my new favorite blogs: the lettered cottage. Recently being on my redecorating kick, I came across this adorable blog about a month ago.

I am LOVING their fresh, clean decorating. I was never a fan of white walls... but have suddenly had a change of heart. Most of my walls in my house our tan, tan, dark blue, and tan. But this past labor day my parents came down and we completely repainted our kitchen/living area. The

ceilings were dirty and the walls were dark tan (pumpkin pie color). I've lived with it for over 4 years and was ready for a change. So my dad painted the ceiling a fresh bright white color and the walls are Martha Stewart "Bone Folder" white with just a dash of tan.

Hello? What house am I in? It seriously doesn't look like the same room, or the same house for that matter.

They are finishing up today, so pictures will be posted soon. In the mean time, here are a few from The Lettered Cottage. Check out the beauty!

Back to Blogging...

I am finally back to where I want to blog again. Motherhood has gotten the best of me, and all my time. But I feel like I have my rope around things and is getting more organized again.

Zach is now 10 months old. He is so big and the love of my life. More to come on him.

I have gotten back into redecorating mode and pictures of the newest living room makeover to come soon!

That's about all, let the blogging begin... stay tuned

Meet my newest baby, "Belle"...

Say hello to my little friend! :) Her name is Belle.

I am soooooooooo happy right now. As seen in a previous post, I loved the J. camera bags. But that was until I found the Epiphanie bags! Are you kidding me? Could these be any cuter?

These bags are AMAZING, designed by a woman photographer. This is the perfect woman's photographer camera bag, big enough for camera, lenses and flashes... PLUS room for your phone, wallet.... just amazing!!!!!!!!!!

I new I had to have this for Vegas. I plan on taking photos of the mountains and vegas strip, but hated the idea of taking my nasty black camera bag, plus a purse. This way it's all rolled into one.

They also have the Ginger and Lola bags... Love the Lola too!

Can you say L.O.V.E!?!?!?!?

16 Things About Me...

Last year around this time, I did a 16 Things About Me post... So I thought I would do another...

1. I'm a mommy and it's the greatest joy I have ever known. I didn't even know you could love someone so much, the way I love my son Zachary. It's beyond anything I knew was possible. :)

2. I have my own photography business, Studio E Photography, LLC. I have to say that I love the work I do, and capturing the joy of other people. Ryan didn't think I would want to do it anymore since I had Zachary, I told him the only way I would ever stop taking photos and offering my services at a great price is if I was dead.

3. I have stretch marks on my thighs and around my waist, but I don't care. It's a reminder of the greatest little boy in my life. Anything he could ever give me would be a blessing. Also, I am between a size 4 and a size 6. Not ashamed to say I was a size 4 before I had Zach and my size has gone up. My pants are a size 6, but my tops are a small or medium depending on the brand.

4. I am a coupon freak. I rarely buy anything without some sort of coupon or discount. If I don't have a coupon for it in my coupon book, then I will search online for a printable one. Or if I'm ordering online, I will search for a discount code to use.

5. My main credit card is a Discover. I used to have a Visa Disney Card and a Citi Card, but I decided to close both of those since all these credit card fees are rising. I now just have one main credit card.

6. I plan to have my second child in three years. I really want Zach to be potty trained before we take on another baby Nusbaum.

7. My last three vehicles have been free. Yes, I know... hate me.

8. I love fried pickles!

9. I cried the other night when I was rocking Zachary in his room. He was snuggled in my arms and as I looked down at his little face (who's eyes were closed), I just lost it. I wanted to remember that moment forever, because before I know it he'll be graduating from High School.

10. I love Disney. Huge fan! And I can't wait to take my children someday and share that experience with them... :) It IS the happiest place on earth.

11. I am quit the snacker. You should see my snack drawer in my desk at work, you would die. I am constantly eating something. Lauren my co-worker makes fun of me all the time... Can't help it, always been an eater. :)

12. I have a ton of jewelry. I love jewelry. But my favorite piece has to be what I go for my birthday this year, a sterling silver thin cuff bracelet that has "Zachary 11.02.09" engraved on it.

13. The seersucker bathing suit you see on previous posting, I actually took that back and got the same one only a bikini, and in blue. I decided I would get my butt in a bikini this year... I know I can do it...

14. My husband and I are homebodies. We MAYBE go out to eat like once a month, or we get takeout. We have always been like this, not just since we've had Zach. The only time we have a chance to go out to eat is on the weekends, and who wants to wait 3 hours at these restaurants here in Columbus... not me.

15. I have become a huge fan of sushi... and I even eat the raw fish eggs! I especially like the sushi that has the cream cheese... yum!

16. The last movie I watched in a movie theatre was the "Friday the 13th" remake... surprise anyone? :)

Viva!

Counting Down= 8 Weeks Until Vegas!

Every May, my sister's and I go on a Vegas trip together. It's become quit the tradition, something we look forward to every year. This year we are staying at the Mirage (first time for all of us)! I have been wanting to stay there since my first trip when I was 21, so I am SUPER pumped for the nice rooms and nice pool area. We have such a great time. Our days consist of getting up in the morning and walking the strip for exercise, breakfast, pool time, relaxing in the room, getting ready and dressed up for dinner, then either shopping or a little gambling (SO MUCH FUN!). Plus the people watching is ideal- Ha!

We usually do a show (last year was Cher), but this year we are renting a car and driving to the California line where there are these goldmine outlets. YAY FOR SHOPPING! I plan on taking cash only, so I don't get out of control- haha! Plus, we will get to stop and take photos of the mountains, Valley of Fire, and the "Welcome to Las Vegas" Sign. So excited!

Plus, being a new mom has been exhausting... special "me" time will be nice for sure. :) But would never change it for one bit! Oh, also, I will get to drink this year because last year Heather and I were BOTH pregnant... so having some wine again out there will only sweeten my time! Can you tell I'm excited? (just a little)

Deals, Deals, Deals...

You know me, I love a good deal. I have been wanting to get some new eye shadow for a while. While I hate spending an arm and a leg on makeup, but at the same time, I have found that eyeshadows that are a little more expensive tend to blend better and stay on better. So I was doing some research and found a celebrity makeup artist who loves FLIRT eyeshadow. There is natural ingredients in it and she uses it on her movie sets. FLIRT makeup can be bought at Kohls... which I never really looked at the Kohls makeup, but today I went to check it out. One of their eyeshadows cost around $12 each. There were so many awesome colors, I didn't know what to do! I wanted a beige, but then I liked the gold for summer coming up- UGH! UNTIL *TA-DA*- I found the FLIRT Limited Edition Eye Shadow Set! This little baby has 40 shadows! And the price... $26!!!! YES! I couldnt' pass it up! It was in a little different location than the rest of the FLIRT makeup. But I tested them out and I love it! The pigment is true and not cheap at all! Super great deal!

Also, I love Target. Who doesn't?! I found this little baby by Sonia Kaskuk on Clearance today! I thought it was great for my purse! Regularly $19.99 on Clearance for $4.95!!!!! YES!!!! I know, right?! Awesome deal! I couldn't pass this one up either. Perfect for my Vegas trip coming up in May. Also, Target has right now these boyfriend t-shirts in the juniors section for $8. I bought a grey one and it is so soft and comfy! They run a little big (I got a small, but I'm usually a medium since having Zach) and it fits great! Highly recommend it too!
